Pull one out of a nearby machine and take this thing with you back to where you came in. In another room is a strange machine on a table, which needs a battery. When you're inside, break open the crates you landed on for some armor. Continue outside and slide down a pole towards the roof of a shorter building and head inside through a hatch. When she leaves, walk along the rooftop and hop into another hotel room to find (1/1) Erdmann's Letter. Look outside and Anya will tell you a plan to get into Eisenwald: Hop onto the roof of a transport truck and you'll be able to get all the way inside.
